We will be going back to the nation of Namibia for the second time in 2 years in September 2018.
Our goal this year is to raise CAD $120,000 to help eradicate poverty in the informal settlements. Out of the 3 million poverty-stricken people over there, approximately 200,000 are orphaned children whose parents have died of HIV/AIDS! These children have to fend for and raise themselves in a harsh adult world. We are sure you agree that helping the younger generation, no matter the geographical area, bodes well for the future of any nation.
Our plan is to build a school ($50,000), construct a water dam ($50,000) and ship 2 containers ($20,000) to Namibia. Last year we were able to provide aid of NAD $3m (YouTube link below) and ship 1 container containing clothes, toys, books, medical supplies, household items and foodstuff to name a few! Currently, we are the only organization in Canada providing aid to the nation of Namibia.
